Before you can configure your Epson printer in the Munchi POS app, you need to pair it with your tablet over Bluetooth. This involves putting the printer into pairing mode through a short button sequence, after which the tablet will detect it automatically. Make sure the printer has fully powered on before you begin — you should see exactly three lights on the device.
When pairing is successful, the Bluetooth button on your Epson printer will glow a steady blue. If it’s flashing or off, the connection wasn’t established — retry the steps from the beginning.

Steps

1

Wait for the printer to be ready

Power on the printer and wait until it shows 3 lights: one blue and two orange. Do not proceed until all three lights are visible.
2

Open the printer lid

Open the printer lid from the right corner.
3

Activate pairing mode

Press the button with the upward arrow icon repeatedly until the third light starts flashing, then close the lid.
4

Follow the printed receipt instructions

The printer will print a receipt. Follow the instructions on it — select option 2 (Network Status Sheet), then press the arrow button once quickly, followed by once long. A second receipt will print.
5

Connect on the tablet

On your tablet, open Bluetooth settings. Your Epson printer should appear with the same number shown on the printed receipt (for example, TM-m30III_067702). Tap it to connect.
6

Confirm the connection

When the connection is successful, the Bluetooth button on the printer will glow blue. Your printer is now paired and ready for the next step.
7

Continue with printer setup

Return to the Printer Setup guide and continue from step 6.
