Setting up a Brother QL-810W label printer involves two stages: first, you configure the printer’s WiFi connection using a setup utility on your computer, and then you connect it to the Munchi POS app using the printer’s IP address. Make sure your label printer and your POS tablet are connected to the same WiFi network before you begin.

Part 1 — Configure the Printer’s WiFi

1

Connect the printer to your computer

Connect the grey cable from the label printer to your computer. Do this before opening the setup utility or pressing anything else.
2

Open the setup utility

Open the file provided by Munchi support, press Utilities, then select Wireless Device Setup Wizard.
3

Start the wizard

Click Next to begin the wireless setup process.
4

Confirm and proceed

Click Checked & Confirmed, then click Next.
5

Select your WiFi network

Wait for the wizard to scan for wireless networks. When the list appears, select the same WiFi network your POS tablet is using. Enter the network password in the Network Key field, then click Next twice and wait for the settings to be submitted.
6

Wait for confirmation

Wait for the confirmation screen to appear, indicating the settings have been applied successfully.
7

Disconnect and finish

Unplug the cable from the printer, click Finish, and close the utility. The printer’s WiFi configuration is now complete.

Part 2 — Connect in the Munchi App

During the steps below, the brother iPrint & Label app will display your printer’s IP address (for example, 10.86.198.250). Write this number down — you’ll need to enter it in the Munchi POS app to complete the connection.
1

Install the brother iPrint & Label app

On your POS tablet, open the App Store and download the brother iPrint & Label app if it isn’t already installed.
2

Connect to the same WiFi

Confirm that both your tablet and the label printer are connected to the same WiFi network.
3

Select your printer model

Open the brother iPrint & Label app and choose QL-810W as your printer model, then tap Done.
4

Note the printer's IP address

Tap New Label → Print, then tap the printer. Allow any permissions it requests and select Show All Connections. Wait a moment — your printer’s model name and IP address will appear (for example, 10.86.198.250). Write down the IP address, then tap Done.
5

Open the side menu in Munchi

In the Munchi One app, tap the three lines (☰) in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
6

Navigate to Printers

Go to Settings → System → Printers.
7

Create and configure the label printer

Tap Create a Printer → Select a Printer → Label Printer. Enter the IP address you noted earlier, then tap Test Connection and allow any permissions requested. Name the printer Label Printer, set the font style to Bold and font size to Large, then tap Create. Your label printer is now connected and ready to use.
