Part 1 — Configure the Printer’s WiFi
Connect the printer to your computer
Connect the grey cable from the label printer to your computer. Do this before opening the setup utility or pressing anything else.
Open the setup utility
Open the file provided by Munchi support, press Utilities, then select Wireless Device Setup Wizard.
Select your WiFi network
Wait for the wizard to scan for wireless networks. When the list appears, select the same WiFi network your POS tablet is using. Enter the network password in the Network Key field, then click Next twice and wait for the settings to be submitted.
Wait for confirmation
Wait for the confirmation screen to appear, indicating the settings have been applied successfully.
Part 2 — Connect in the Munchi App
During the steps below, the brother iPrint & Label app will display your printer’s IP address (for example,
10.86.198.250). Write this number down — you’ll need to enter it in the Munchi POS app to complete the connection.Install the brother iPrint & Label app
On your POS tablet, open the App Store and download the brother iPrint & Label app if it isn’t already installed.
Connect to the same WiFi
Confirm that both your tablet and the label printer are connected to the same WiFi network.
Select your printer model
Open the brother iPrint & Label app and choose QL-810W as your printer model, then tap Done.
Note the printer's IP address
Tap New Label → Print, then tap the printer. Allow any permissions it requests and select Show All Connections. Wait a moment — your printer’s model name and IP address will appear (for example,
10.86.198.250). Write down the IP address, then tap Done.Open the side menu in Munchi
In the Munchi One app, tap the three lines (☰) in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Create and configure the label printer
Tap Create a Printer → Select a Printer → Label Printer. Enter the IP address you noted earlier, then tap Test Connection and allow any permissions requested. Name the printer Label Printer, set the font style to Bold and font size to Large, then tap Create. Your label printer is now connected and ready to use.
