When you need to stop accepting orders from a specific online channel — whether due to an unexpected rush, a temporary closure, or staffing constraints — you can manage your venue availability directly from your POS tablet without logging into each platform separately. Munchi lets you toggle individual sales channels and set exactly how long they should remain closed.
Closing a channel from the POS is especially useful during unexpected rushes or short-term closures when your kitchen needs a break from incoming online orders. You can resume anytime by toggling the channel back on.

Close an Online Sales Channel

1

Open the Orders tab

On your POS tablet, navigate to the Orders tab.
2

Tap Venue Status

Select Venue Status to see all online sales channels currently integrated with Munchi’s Order Manager.
3

Choose the channel to close

You will see a list of your connected channels — for example, Foodora, Wolt, or your Munchi Online Store. Use the toggle switch next to the channel you want to close.
4

Select a time frame

Choose the time frame during which the channel should remain closed. This allows the system to automatically reopen the channel when the period ends.
5

Confirm your changes

Tap Accept to save your settings. The selected channel will stop accepting new orders immediately.
